Hastus Line Cohort [8]

Hastus Line Cohorts, as their name suggests, are the frontline unit of the new Roman army. These units of warriors are the mainstay of each of the Legions. When first deployed within the forces of unity the Legionaries became the premier Heavy Infantry across Terra. Each Legion, especially in their nascent days, consisted of nothing more than the Hastus Line Cohorts, no specialist units had yet been formed nor had Legion Commanders had enough time with their forces to truly shape them.
